We are seeking more than 100 top-notch highly motivated vendors to raise the bar even higher in 2023! Businesses, organizations and individual vendors are welcome to apply. Thousands of fair goers have expressed particular interest in food, antiques, arts, crafts and other handmade goods, and fun for the kids such as face painting, games, activities and demonstrations.

The success of the 4th Street Fair is deeply connected to the quality and reliability of our vendors. Based on attendee feedback, and the planning committee's desire to continue enhancing this rejuvenated event, preference will be given to full weekend vendors for 2023. This year's event will be open during the following hours:

VENDOR REGISTRATION OPENS ON MARCH 28, 2023 & CLOSES ON SEPTEMBER 1, 2023

Rates include a single 15' L x 10' W booth space for the full weekend with LOTS of complimentary marketing including press releases, website and social media promotions leading up to the event. Booths will be setup on a paved surface. Tents/canopies are vendors responsibility and must be properly weighted and secured on all corners. Vendor displays must not exceed 10' wide or impede walkways/aisles in any way. Tables, chairs, and extension cords are NOT provided. Exact setup times, booth location, and other important details will be emailed to approved vendors in early September.

Submit your application and payment by June 5, 2023 and you'll save a whopping 20% off the booth and electricity rates shown below! Applications submitted on or after June 6, 2023 are not eligible for the early bird discount.

Thank you for supporting the 42nd Annual 4th Street Fair in Old Richmond. Proceeds from this event benefit Senior Opportunities Services, Inc. (SOS), a local not-for-profit serving older adults in Wayne County, IN.

VENDOR REQUIREMENTS

Attendance: Approved vendors are expected to remain set up during fair hours and will not be permitted to tear down/leave until the fair has closed due to patron safety considerations. If you need to leave early, let us know in advance so we may place your booth accordingly. 

Booth Space: Displays should not exceed 10' deep and all items must be kept within your assigned space. Electrical access will only be provided to vendors who request electricity on this application. Vendors are required to provide their own tents/canopies as well as necessary extension cords, racks, tables, chairs, and fixtures for their display. Vendors may not sell or give space to another vendor.

Tents/Canopies: If using a portable/pop-up tent or canopy it MUST be properly weighted on all corners. Failure to comply will result in removal and other penalties.

Check-In and Set Up: The contact person listed on the vendor application, or their spouse, must be the person that checks in unless prior arrangements have been made. Exact check-in and set up times will be emailed to approved vendors prior to the fair.

Clean-Up: All trash and debris must be removed from the vendor's area before exiting the fair. Vendors must leave the area in the same, if not better condition, than when they arrived.

Security: Vendors are responsible for securing their own booths. 4th Street Fair / Senior Opportunities Services does not provide security and will not be liable for theft, loss or damage to any property.

Cash/Debit Cards: 4th Street Fair patrons have indicated it would be extremely helpful if vendors displayed signage indicating whether they accept debit/credit cards or cash only. Please help out fair goers and place signage about the payments types you accept at your booth.

Sales Tax: Vendors are responsible for collecting, reporting, and submitting Indiana Sales Tax as required under applicable laws.

Weather: The 4th Street Fair will take place rain or shine. Vendors MUST be prepared for inclement weather. 

Live Animals: Due to liability reasons, vendors MUST let us know in advance if they plan to have live animals at the fair.

Food Vendors: You must comply with all Wayne County, Indiana Health Department regulations. Food vendors will be subject to health department inspection during the fair. Electrical access will only be provided to vendors who request electricity on their vendor application. The 4th Street Fair does not provide vendors with access to potable water or waste water/sewage disposal systems. Trash receptacles will be provided throughout the event site for the public. A dumpster will also be provided on site for vendor and public trash removal. Portable toilets and a hand-washing station will also be provided on site for public use.

Not-For-Profit Food Vendors: Food items must be labeled with name of the maker and tax-exempt numbers. For additional requirements or questions, please contact the Wayne County Health Department at (765) 973-9245.

Retail Food Establishments:  Retail Food Establishments are required to have a food service permit issued by the Wayne County Health Department (WCHD). Vendors will be subject to inspection during the fair. Temporary Food Vendor applications are available on the Wayne County Health Department website and must be turned int o WCHD at least 7 days before the event: https://www.co.wayne.in.us/web/dept/health/environmental/food.php. For permit cost, additional requirements or other questions, please contact the Wayne County Health Department at (765) 973-9245.

Home-Based Food Vendors (HBV): The sale of non-potentially hazardous food products made in your primary residence, such as baked goods and candies/confections, is permitted in accordance with Indiana's HBV requirements and labeling guidelines. Vendors will be subject to inspection during the fair. If you have questions about HBV requirements and applicability, please contact the Wayne County Health Department at (765) 973-9245.

Water/Sewage/Refuse: Vendors will NOT have access to potable water or waste water/sewage disposal systems. Trash receptacles will be provided throughout the event site for public use. A dumpster will also be provided on site for vendor and public trash removal. 

Restroom Facilities: Portable toilets and a hand-washing station will be provided on site for public use.
