What to know before you go
The health and safety of our community is top priority. Vendors, performers, and visitors ("attendees") agree to comply with all event guidelines which will be updated as circumstances and requirements change in our community. Please check back for updated information and be sure to review this page before visiting the 4th Street Fair.
Attendees are required to comply with health and safety laws, orders, ordinances, regulations and health and safety guidance adopted by the State of Indiana, Wayne County, City of Richmond, and the event organizers including any face mask and social distancing guidelines in place at the time of the event.
Before you leave home
Make sure you are healthy by reviewing the CDC Coronavirus Self-Checker
Do not attend if you think you have been exposed
Bring masks as needed
Pack your umbrellas and rain coats - this is a rain or shine event
Check for electronic updates if there is potential inclement weather
When you arrive
Event staff will direct vendors their booths
Street parking and parking lots will be available around the area for attendees
There is no admission fee for this event
While you’re at the 4th Street Fair
Event will follow strict safety protocols in compliance with all applicable requirements in effect at the time of this event as determined by state, county, city, and/or event organizers. This includes but is not limited to applicable crowd capacity limits, face masks and social distancing requirements.
Event staff will be available to help answer your questions
For the comfort and safety of all, we ask that you follow a few simple rules:
No riding or using bicycles, skateboards, roller blades or scooters inside the festival area
No outside solicitations or unauthorized vending inside the festival area
Attendees are responsible for their own trash and bins will be available on site for disposal
Well behaved dogs are welcome on a non-retractable leash at all times or a locked 6’ maximum lead. Must be current on rabies vaccination. PLEASE bring your own waste bags and clean up after your dog. Event organizers reserve the right to eject any aggressive, or obviously ill animal. Pet owners assume full responsibility for their pets. Senior Opportunities Services, and 4th Street Fair organizers cannot be held liable for any incidents or injury.
By entering the festival, attendees accept full responsibility for any risks to themselves and/or their pets.
Is there a cost to attend the 4th Street Fair?
No. As always, this is a free event for all.
Is this a fundraising event?
Yes. Vendor fees and proceeds collected from the 4th Street Fair benefit Senior Opportunities Services. SOS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission to help older adults in Wayne County lead more meaningful lives, thereby restoring dignity and sense of purpose.
Where can I park?
Free street parking is available throughout the Old Richmond Historic District. Limited parking lots will also be available for a fee.
Will there be food and drink available?
Yes. There will be food and beverage available for purchase during the festival. Several local restaurants in the immediate area will also be open during this event.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
You may bring your own non-alcoholic beverages and food, however, outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. We encourage you to patronize the onsite concessions available to you at the festival.
Will there be restrooms available?
Portable restroom facilities will be available at this event.
What if it rains?
Pack your umbrellas and rain coats because this is a rain or shine event!
